This paper starts with a brief review of the public Technical-Vocational Education Schools [TVES] and then examines the problems of the 2nd Evening TVES in Chalandri, in theframework of a case study. It also examines the socio-economic characteristics of the students and their parents, the nature of their work, the allocation of their daily time and their opinion on the operation of their school. Furthermore,there is a comparison of the curriculum of TVES with that of the Technical- Vocational Lyceum and finally a proposal is made on necessary reform measures for the evening TVES.
