Support offers for intercultural competence are still in their infancy in the Austrian school system. As part of the research programme Sparkling Science, researchers of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Science, Campus Steyr, had the possibility to explore culturally caused problems and conflictive areas jointly with students of Auhof College of Business Administration and develop a curriculum for VET colleges on that basis. This book comprises clearly understandable theoretical aspects of interculturalism, pedagogy and didactics, key research findings of the project, excerpts from the curriculum, and practical hints and documents for designing classroom instruction at the level of VET colleges.
