Abstract:
Letter including policy reaction, presented by Minister van Bijsterveldt-Vliegenthart accompanying the recommendation from the NLQF — EQF Committee (Commissie Leijnse) on how the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning (EQF) can be implemented in the Netherlands. The Minister wants to accelerate setting up the National Contact Point (NCP EQF) and will request a business plan for the first two years from the Knowledge Centre APL (Kenniscentrum EVC). Based on the plan developed by the knowledge centre, the NCP EQF will have to be positioned and equipped, after which it will have to develop into an independent organisation, set apart from educational bodies or the government. The following should be noted in relation to this independence, however.
