The way learning is interpreted in the 21st century is closely related to the economic, technological, social and scientific changes that fundamentally influence our daily life. As a result of these changes, learning and education have greater role. It is essential to develop skills and competences which enable us to make use of the potentials of digital technology, and which allow us to succeed at school and in the world of work and in daily life. Improving learning skills begins with adequately defining learning. This article summarizes the core elements of contemporary learning concepts, beside interpreting modern learning concept and describing three important learning theories.
