Individual career and educational guidance are important ways of facilitating the entry of people from a migrant background into the labour market. This topic formed the main focus of the 14th MIGRATION FORUM, which was organised by the Otto Benecke Foundation and staged in conjunction with the University of Bremen. A report was provided on the support available at important interfaces within the transition from training to higher education study and employment. Young migrants also spoke of their own experiences of the hurdles and assistance in place along the route to training, higher education study or employment.
