The eleventh edition of the Yearbook Education in Figures, contains the most recent figures concerning education in the Netherlands. Besides information on students, educational institutions and educational expenses, a number of other topics is being discussed. In this edition attention is paid to the educational level of the population and the chances of graduates of secondary education, higher education and doctor’s degrees on the labour market. To which extent is the diploma that a student obtains actually useful? Some of the conclusions in this publication claim that the educational level of the Dutch population has increased and that the number of students that dropped out without a starting qualification has decreased. The yearbook contains various educational data.

De elfde editie van het Jaarboek onderwijs in cijfers, met daarin de meest actuele cijfers over het onderwijs in Nederland. Naast de vaste informatie over leerlingen, onderwijsinstellingen en onderwijsuitgaven wordt een aantal thema’s speciaal belicht. In deze editie is er onder meer aandacht voor het opleidingsniveau van de bevolking en komen de kansen op de arbeidsmarkt aan bod van afgestudeerden van het middelbaar beroepsonderwijs, hoger onderwijs en gepromoveerden. Wat heeft een leerling of student aan het diploma dat hij of zij heeft behaald? Enkele conclusies in deze publicatie zijn dat het opleidingsniveau van de Nederlandse bevolking toegenomen is en het aantal leerlingen dat het onderwijs verliet zonder startkwalificatie gedaald is. In het tabellengedeelte van het jaarboek wordt een overzicht gegeven van diverse onderwijsgegevens.
