Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia, Consortium of Biotechnical schools and other partners are attempting improve the level of education on the countryside. It is supposed to form a basis for new ideas new jobs and thus ensure development of the countryside. The Biotechnical schools have already started the modernization of the educational programmes, for which they managed to acquire ESF funding. New programmes enable training for multiple professions and consequently more chances for employment. The quality of the programmes is further attested by the fact that the number of enrolled students is growing, even though the generations are smaller
