Abstract:
The article points to significance of the principle of equal chances in theory and practice of human resource management. The main aim of human resource management is to secure equal employment opportunities for people regardless their gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, nationality, age, status, heath or other handicaps. It points to the forms of discrimination in human resource management and gives answers to questions concerning possibilities to assert human rights in the area of employment.
