Abstract:

In 2003 the Swedish government set up a commission, the National Commission on Validation, in order to develop the processes of quality and methods for validation during the next four years. Their tasks were to develop quality, legitimacy and equivalence; carry on and support development; strengthen regional cooperation in order to reach well adapted working methods for development, consultation and evaluation; work out proposals on what measures should be taken to assure validation activities after 2007.
