The article brings results of a research study "Vocational training and integration to labour market of young disabled people", carried out in the years 1197-1999. The research had three parts: field research collecting information on situation of 175 graduates; exploration of social background of graduates in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic; exploration of educational institutions where the graduates had studied. The following suggestion results from the research: a specialised educational institution must provide students with complex and systematic programme of vocational training.
