The central focus of this yearbook is the broad perspective the recognition of previously acquired qualifications [EVC] takes in the various contexts of labour market, target-group policy and education. Preceded by two general contributions, three sections contain various articles giving a broad insight into the various uses to which qualification recognition can be put. All contributions were written this year and last by employees at the Knowledge Centre or external authors with strong affinity to qualification recognition. Compiling these contributions in this yearbook has resulted in the presentation of a broad range of opportunities and methods for setting up and implementing a system for recognising previous qualifications in one’s own organisation. The yearbook concludes with an extra section, a review of publications of four years’ work done by the EVC Knowledge Centre.

In dit jaarboek staat het brede perspectief centraal van EVC in de verschillende contexten van de arbeidsmarkt, het doelgroepenbeleid en het onderwijs. Voorafgegaan door twee algemene bijdragen zijn in drie delen verschillende bijdragen verzameld die breed uitwaaieren over het verschillende gebruik van EVC voor uiteenlopende doelen. Alle bijdragen zijn het afgelopen jaar en dit jaar geschreven door medewerkers van het kenniscentrum of door externe auteurs die nauw verbonden zijn met EVC. Het resultaat van de bundeling in dit jaarboek toont het brede palet aan mogelijkheden en werkwijzen om EVC in de eigen organisatie op te bouwen en te implementeren.
