Abstract:
The Council posits that ‘green’ education that trains for the agro-industry, agriculture and nature requires more space to be able to meet the demand for professionals. Under the current Adult and Vocational Education Act [WEB], offering new courses is not possible. Yet these are required because working in agriculture and nature is becoming increasingly complex, while more and more different forms of employment are emerging in the green sector, such as logistics, chain management and care. The limitation of green education is an expression of obsolete and superfluous legislation and, as such, should be eliminated as soon as possible.
