Abstract:
This document outlines the Conservative Party's plans to improve the future economy by creating a skilled workforce. It recommends that students aged 13 should be given the option of attending technical schools as opposed to the existing academic schools, thus formalising the vocational / academic divide. Comparisons are made between systems in the UK, Europe, and the United States to support this argument.
