In this annual report, various authors have tackled subjects that are of relevance to the creation of a competence-based qualification structure for initial senior secondary vocational education. The first section concentrates on □qualification logic□, i.e. creative handling of qualifications, descriptive models for competencies and qualifications: formats; professional competence at assistant level (level 1); art education at senior secondary vocational education [MBO] level: an opening in the market?; competence profiles in higher professional education [HBO] (level 5). The second section includes a long article on monofunctionality or multifunctionality of the qualification structure in senior secondary vocational education [MBO], in which such topics as initial and postinitial training, career guidance and development, previously acquired competencies [EVC] and assessment are reviewed.

In het eerste deel wordt aandacht besteed aan de 'kwalificatielogica'; creatief omgaan met kwalificaties, beschrijvingmodellen voor competenties en kwalificaties : formats; beroepsbekwaamheid op assistentniveau (niveau 1); mbo-kunstonderwijs: een gat in de markt?; hbo-competentieprofielen (niveau 5). In het tweede deel is een uitgebreid artikel opgenomen over de mono- of multifunctionaliteit van de mbo-kwalificatiestructuur, waarbij vraagstukken rondom initieel en postinitieel opleiden, loopbaanoriëntatie en -ontwikkeling, EVC en assessment de revue passeren.
