This is a study addressing the consequences of the introduction of the Work Place Structure [WerkPlekkenStructuur, WPS] in pre-vocational secondary education. This study is aimed at the direct practical application of WPS in education. WPS is an attempt to make education for pre-vocational secondary education students more inspiring. Its main characteristics are: - independent/self-managing studies; - integrating theory and practice; - practical simulations; - students taking over essential tasks from teachers, such as warehouse manager, planner and quality inspector; - use of (work) order guiding forms [OrderGeleideBonnen, OGB]. Other characteristics include a broad development of social skills in young persons, an improved coherence in the education programme and self-exploratory education. WPS enables students to learn at their own level and speed.

Betreft een onderzoek naar de gevolgen van de invoering van de WerkPlekkenStructuur (WPS) in het VMBO. Het onderzoek is gericht op de directe toepassing in de onderwijspraktijk. WPS is een aanpak op het onderwijs voor vmbo-leerlingen inspirerender te maken.
