Abstract:

The recruitment services of Vaasa University carry out placement surveys yearly. The information is based on questionnaires administered to all graduates at the time of graduation. This is the first report based on a new placement monitoring system. The questionnaire was administered to 359 students, the rate of return was 58 per cent. The recruitment service monitors the placement of graduates for two years after graduation, after which time 90 per cent have found employment corresponding to their education.
