The first section outlines frameworks for the development of the qualification structure. The second section focuses on the harmonisation of educational routes. This specifically concerns streamlining the interface between education and vocational training, between vocational training and higher education and between vocational training and sectorial training programmes. Various educational aspects of qualification structures serve as the guiding line for the third section. Studies into occupational practice, the extent to which the qualification structure is representative, job levels, workplace training and the implementation in a Regional Training Centre [ROC] are discussed. In dit jaarboek staat de kwalificatiestructuur in al zijn facetten centraal. Het jaarboek bestaat uit twaalf verschillende bijdragen die onderverdeeld zijn in vijf delen. In het eerste deel worden kaders voor de kwalificatiestructuur-ontwikkeling geschetst. In het tweede deel staat de afstemming tussen leertrajecten centraal. Het gaat daarbij om de afstemming tussen educatie en beroepsonderwijs ; tussen beroepsonderwijs en hoger onderwijs en tussen beroepsonderwijs en sectorale opleidingen. Verschillende onderwijskundige aspecten van kwalificatiestructuren vormen de leidraad voor het derde deel. Aan bod komen het onderzoeken van de beroepspraktijk, de representativiteit van de kwalificatiestructuur, niveaus van functies, beroepspraktijkvorming en implementatie in een roc. In het vierde deel wordt over de grens over gekeken: wat gebeurt er in Australië en wat kan Nederland daarvan leren?
