Abstract:

This book includes a study based on a research project - one of the few existing- that treats technical-vocational education and training in Greece. It includes a sociological analysis of the Greek culture, since the establishment of the Greek state, that points out the factors which affected Greek educational policy. The technical-vocational education was rather neglected and caused a very slow development of the production sector.
