Day high-schools were established in the late 1970's as an educational offer for the long term unemployed, and they have expanded ever since. Teaching in these schools is primarily in general subjects with the aimof developing personal qualifications. In this report an analysis of the activities at the 146 day high-schools is presented. The number of participants were 9.000 in 1991. The report contains information on the participants, the teaching and counselling, the teachers, the financial measures, and many other items.
